I just wrapped up a Google Meet video planning meeting with the Nest teachers. My two kids, Zevi and Laila, were listening in because their preschool is closed. My wife is still going into work. I’m learning how to juggle taking care of two kids while also working from home. I breathe and remind myself to be present. Because their learning doesn’t stop either. It’s minutes after I ended the meeting with the Nest teachers and my son says, “Daddy, can you help me organize these books?” I pause and look up from my laptop. I walk over to the kids and ask, “How do you want to organize them?” And a sorting project is born… (not pictured: dirty dishes piled up in the sink that I haven’t gotten to yet)
