Extended Day Program

At Wingra we believe that learning never ends. Therefore, our Extended Day Program is not your average after school option. It is planned and run by a certified teacher who teaches in tune with Wingra’s progressive philosophy.

The program is developed to satisfy the needs of the whole child, and each day is well balanced with organized choices, free play, and together time.

Daily activities vary in order to engage a multi-age group of children with a variety of interests. Our program is flexible yet structured in order to nurture a safe and connected group of friends.

CHANGES FOR 2011-2012

We made a few changes to our pricing and billing procedure for the 2011-2012 school year. We changed our pricing so that it more closely relates to the actual hours of care we provide each day and month.

Though we do not offer registration by the hour, our rates now consistently average at $5.50 an hour. There is also now the option of registering for all or half of the program offered each day.

We will still require registration by the first of the month, but we will now bill each family at the end of the month. This will allow us to add the fees for any drop-ins that might occur during the course of the month.

We hope that these changes will make Extended Day a more flexible and affordable option for Wingra families.
