Job Posting: Campaign Manager
Wingra School, a progressive independent school in Madison, seeks a professional fund raiser to manage its ongoing capital campaign.
Reporting to the Head of School, this 50% position will begin immediately to carry forward an established campaign that includes exciting matching gift opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Develop positive relationships with current donors and provide stewardship to the donor cultivation process.
- Participate in the cultivation and solicitation of selected major contributors and campaign leadership.
- Manage the overall relationship with relevant boards and committees involving staff and volunteer leaders as appropriate.
- Develop and implement strategies to identify and incorporate new donors in the campaign to enlarge the donor base.
- Supervise the maintenance of the campaign database including production of financial campaign reports and staff assignment reports and tracking of pledges through database management.
Qualifications
- BA degree. Candidates must have 2 to 4 years of relevant training and/or experience.
- Demonstrated success personally soliciting significant major gifts.
- Outstanding demonstrated success building, cultivating and stewarding new relationships leading to measurable results i.e. larger donor base, increase in campaign revenue, increase in volunteer participation and partnership
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present at public platforms
- Demonstrated success working collaboratively and cooperatively with others, other departments within the organization and with other organizations and entities.
