An Evening of Jazz held on September 10, 2010, at Epic was a wonderful community gathering. We enjoyed good company, food and music while spreading the word about the Joyce Perkins Scholarship Fund for tuition assistance. It was truly heartwarming to see both current and former families come together to support our school.
Sincere thanks to Judy Faulkner and the good people at Epic for providing the beautiful venue and to Wingra parent, Eric Carlson for all of his help with logistics and arrangements. And of course, big thanks to the Sidran family – Judy, Ben and Leo - for so generously donating their time and talent to support our school.
If you have not done so already, please consider making a gift to the Joyce Perkins Scholarship Fund. This fund makes it possible for students to attend Wingra who would not otherwise be in a position to do so. Currently over 20% of Wingra students receive tuition assistance -- that’s one out of every five students. Only contributions from our community will ensure that we’re able to continue to provide this kind of assistance.
