At Wingra School, we rely on generous gifts to our Wings for Wingra Annual Fund, the Joyce Perkins Scholarship Fund and our Capital Campaign, in order to support our staff and educational program, provide tuition assistance, and maintain and enhance our building and grounds. All of these fundraising efforts are of equal importance and contribute to the financial sustainability and health of Wingra School.

Wings for Wingra Annual Fund

The Wings for Wingra Annual Fund is a yearly fundraising effort to support the current operations of the school. Each year, Wings for Wingra relies on generous gifts from Wingra parents, board members, alumni, alumni parents, grandparents, staff and friends. These gifts help enhance the day-to-day life of our students and staff by supporting key elements of our program, such as classroom equipment, staff salaries and development, technology, and tuition assistance. Learn more about the Wings for Wingra Annual Fund.

Joyce Perkins Scholarship Fund

Named after a beloved former director, the Joyce Perkins Scholarship Fund was created in 1987 and over the last 25 years has provided $2 million in tuition assistance. Currently 20% of our students receive tuition assistance — that’s one out of every five students. We cannot sustain this level of support without generous donations and special events such as the annual Fall Benefit.

Capital Campaign

Wingra’s Capital Campaign has an incredible 2:1 matching opportunity provided by a very generous group of anonymous donors. Wingra receives $2 for every dollar contributed to the campaign. This amazing opportunity will allow Wingra to improve our beautiful building and grounds in ways that will enhance our educational programming. Learn more about this exciting opportunity.
