Wingra School went back in time to the 1970s, in honor of our 40th anniversary, at the 2nd Annual Fall Benefit: Friday Night Fever on September 30, 2011. The event was a huge success and we were able to raise over $10,000 to the Joyce Perkins Scholarship Fund.
The Joyce Perkins Scholarship Fund, named after a beloved former director, was created in 1987 and over the last 25 years has provided $2 million in tuition assistance. Currently 20% of our students receive tuition assistance — that’s one out of every five students. We cannot sustain this level of support without generous donations and special events such as this one. If you have not done so already, please consider making a donation to the Joyce Perkins Scholarship Fund.
